                           SECURITY & SAFETY IN GLENMARIE COURT.

The following notes were recorded:-

 

1.0              GCHA commented that Group 4’s reply to the Letters of Complaints issued by GCHA

            Security & Safety Committee is not acceptable. The reply did not address the complaints

            and offer remedial measures.

 

1.1       Group 4 said that, they have appointed Major Subra to be responsible for the operation

            and will thereafter be responsible for the satisfactory performance of the security  

            operation in Glenmarie Court.

 

1.2              Major Subra said he require sometime to study the security system in Glenmarie Court.

 

1.3       GCHA Committee commented they are satisfied with the commitment given by

            management level of Group 4 and look forward to the same commitment by the security

            guards on duty in Glenmarie Court.

 

1.4              A lenghtly deliberation on the implementation of Construction Workers Passes was

            carried out. Issuance of Construction Workers Passes were not properly carried out by 

            Group 4 and only 30% of the workers have permanent passes. Group 4 will monitor this

            matter closely. To speed up the registration of Construction Passes, a meeting with Main

            Contractors will be held on Thursday 7th October 2004 @ 6.00pm at Board Room,

            Glenmarie Golf & Country Club.

 

1.5              GCHA sub-committee apologized for not recording the satisfactory reponse to a mimic

            call made on 16th September 2004 @ 10.30pm from the President’s house. It was noted

            that:-

 

i)                    The Supervisor, Mr.Simon and another guard on patrol responded to the call

            within 2 minutes.

 

ii)                   He was instructed to call for the guard dogs on patrol and the response was:-

 

a)      Guard dogs with dog handler responded within 2 minutes.

b)      3rd guard dog and dog handler responded within 7 minutes.

 

1.6              In order to monitor the performance of the security guards on duty in the guardhouse,

            Group 4 proposed to install CCTV at the entry and exit point to the guardhouse and

            inside the guardhouse. The cost is approx  RM5.000.00 and will be funded by Group 4

            and GCHA equally.

 

1.7              GCHA requested Group 4 to translate the operation procedures from Bahasa Malaysia to

            English as they will be posted at the GCHA web-site.

 

1.8              Group 4 summitted the final proposal of the installation of Electric Photo Beams.
