The
President welcomed and thanked all Owners and Contractors for their attendance.
He briefed them that the main purpose for the meeting is to remind everyone
that “

President went on to highlight some of the current problems faced by GCHA on
behalf of the residents in

photographs of bungalows under construction were also shown and some of the
concerns raised by GCHA are highlighted.
2.0
CONSTRUCTION WORKING HOURS
2.1 At
present the working hours for all construction workers are from

3.0
CLEANLINESS AT CONSTRUCTION SITE
3.1 All
Owners and Contractors are reminded that their construction site must be kept
clean and free of stagnant water (which is a potential breeding ground for
mosquitoes) at all times. In particular the common area in front of the construction
site must be clean daily and free from lunch boxes, plastic bags and rubbish.
3.2 GCHA
will get their own cleaning contractor to clean the common area if Owners / Contractors
do not respond to this request to keep the common area clean and a fee of
RM300/- per month will be charged for each construction site.
3.3 All
Owners and Contractors agreed to clean up the common area in front of their
construction site daily.
4.0
HOARDING
4.1 All
hoarding at the perimeter of the bungalow lots under construction should have a
height of at least 2 meters, preferable green or blue in colour.
4.2 All
hoarding to be constructed with metal-deck materials. GCHA highlighted some
hoarding made of zinc sheeting which is not acceptable.
5.0
PASSES FOR CONSTRUCTION WORKERS
5.1 All
construction workers must have permanent construction passes issued by the
security company, Capvest Security Sdn Bhd. Temporary construction
passes will be given to workers who wish to work in
6.0
DAMAGE TO PROPERTIES AT COMMON AREA
All Owners and Contractors are reminded that it is their responsibility
to make good all damages in the common area.
7.0
SAFETY AND SECURITY
Contractors are advised to secure their construction site daily before
leaving to prevent unwanted injuries to children who may innocently wander into
their sites.
There being no other matters,
the meeting ended with a note of thanks to all present.
HOUSE RULES AND
REGULATIONS FOR CONSTRUCTION
1. The Owner shall erect all round temporary hoarding using materials approved by the local authorities and is at least 2 meters in height generally green in colour to screen construction activities from outside the lot.
2. The Owner shall prevent silt, construction debris or rubbish of any kind be dumped or flowed into any drainage system. All common areas in front of the construction site must be free of rubbish, lunch boxes, drink bottles etc.

Burning of any construction
debris is strictly prohibited and all debris shall be removed to the Owner’s
own dumping ground which must be outside
4. No construction activities of any kind shall be allowed before 0800 hrs and after 1800 hrs during weekdays. No construction activities are allowed during Sundays and Public Holidays.

Security of the
6. No sleeping quarters shall be constructed except for site office or stores in the construction site.
7. The cost of repairs to any damage to infrastructures will be borne by the Owner.
